It's nearly that time of year again. The kids are getting hyper and the parents are getting worried about child care and all the snacks the kids are going to hoover up! But there is plenty going on in Cornwall this summer to keep them entertained, so we've rounded up what's on in Cornwall for the summer holidays 2025...

Stones & Bones at The Minack, 21st - 30th July

‘Stones and Bones’ from Squashbox Theatre is a marvellous mix of history and mystery! Find out all about archaeology and fossils, say hello to one of your stone-age ancestors, hear stories of giants and wizards, see a volcano erupting before your very eyes, and maybe even glimpse a dinosaur or two...

Wipeout, 21st July - 31st August

A summer show that blends aerial choreography with playful humour and surf culture charm. Watch in amazement as skilled performers transform surfing moves into breathtaking aerial choreography this summer at National Maritime Museum Cornwall. The performers flip, soar, and dive through the air, creating an immersive experience that captures the freedom and excitement of catching the perfect wave.

Boconnoc Steam Fair, 25th - 27th July

Since 1999, Boconnoc Steam Fair celebrates not only the steam engine but has grown to include vintage cars and tractors, alongside fun events like lawn mower racing. There are craft markets, fairground rides, beer and food tents and steam-powered trailer rides around the grounds. Camp for the weekend or go along for a day and enjoy some family fun in the Boconnoc Parkland.

Family Friendly Archery at Trerice, Various Dates

Spend a day exploring the Elizabethan manor house and grounds before testing your aim and having a go at archery with family-friendly arrow kits and targets on the parade ground at Trerice.

Kids Art Workshops, St Ives School of Art, Various Dates
