Our Favourite Cornish Food Producers
Christmas is nearly here and one of our favourite things about this time of year is that it's all about the food! We're very lucky that here in Cornwall we have so many wonderful local food producers, so we've put together our favourites to share with you so that you can add a touch of Cornish to your festive celebrations.
What's Christmas without chocolate!? We love Josh's Chocolate because it has beautiful packaging which makes it perfect for gifting (if you can keep your hands off it!), it comes in lots of lovely flavours (our fave is the milk chocolate with brandy snap), they have gigantic buttons, hot chocolate stirring spoons and a whole vegan selection.
Peanut butter is a staple in pretty much everyone's kitchen cupboards - but this gorgeous Cornish company make it a luxury! Their award winning peanut butter comes in lots of gorgeous flavours - give the chocolate & orange one a try, we love it on hot crumpets for the ultimate indulgence.
Run by a family from the Netherlands who moved to Cornwall in the late 90's, they make artisan cheese on their farm near Looe. Their gouda is as good as anything you'd find in the low country and is perfect for your Christmas cheese board.
These award-winning fruit cordials are hand made in small batches in the Tamar Valley. Perfect for creating cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks for your festive get togethers. Their gin cocktail mixer set makes the perfect gift!
One from the islands! We adore the packaging of this gin which tastes fantastic and also looks great on your drinks trolley. Get a little bit Scilly this Christmas!
