The Schoose family love camping! From tiny tents on adventures to big family tents and campervans - between the team we do it all! With summer here it's time to head out into the wilds. Here's our favourite campsites in Cornwall...
Cadgwith Camping
With sea views from every pitch this is one of our top campsites in Cornwall! Just steps from the South West Coast Path and a short stroll from the picture perfect village of Cadgwith, you've got everything you need within walking distance - from sea swims and lazy beach days to cosy pub nights, hardcore hiking days and fresh fish from the harbour. This low-impact, eco-friendly Cornish campsite has hot showers, composting loos and they are dog friendly.
Gwithian Farm Campsite
This is the best campsite in Cornwall for a beach holiday - it's just a few minutes walk from Gwithian Beach where you'll have 3 miles of golden sand to explore along with stunning views of Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives Bay. Learn to surf at Gwithian Surf Academy, walk to The Jam Pot for a Cornish cream team or head out along the coast path and watch the seals lollop around Seal Cove!
Blue Hills Camping
This campsite is just short hop up the Cornish coast from our shop. Blue Hills is a fascinating area of mining heritage and is right on the coast, with a quiet cove to stroll down to. It's also just a short drive from St Agnes which is a lovely village with shops, pubs, restaurants and a beach.
St Winnow Campsite
A slightly secret campsite in Cornwall (ssssh!) hidden on the banks on the River Fowey. Choose from camping in the two acre orchard amongst the fruit trees right on the banks of the river, or up in the field with it's sweeping views. At high tide you can swim in the river and launch canoes and small boats. There are showers, loos, firepits and it's dog friendly. Don't miss the riverside walk through the woods to Lerryn where you can visit the lovely pub or stock up on supplies and Cornish pasties at the local shop.
Stars & Moor
Just 4 pitches in two acres make this a very spacious and peaceful camping experience on the edge of Bodmin Moor. With dark skies for star gazing and wild walks from your tent door you'll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.
Old Coastguard's Campsite
This might win the prize for the most stunning views of any campsite in Cornwall! Perched on the cliff next to Pendeen Lighthouse and within walking distance of two beautiful beaches. There is also pub just up the road which is always a good campsite score!
Teneriffe Farm Campsite
Run by the National Trust, this campsite is at the end of a quiet lane just a stones throw from the coastal path. You can walk to Mullion Cove and Kynance Cove from here to avoid the parking dramas that come with the summer season at these two hot spots! With top notch facilities and peaceful vibes, this is a great Cornish campsite.
