What's On In Cornwall This Spring

After hibernating all winter it's time to dust off those walking shoes, grab that coat and get outdoors! There is plenty going on in Cornwall this spring to get you inspired, so we've rounded up the best of what's on in Cornwall this spring...

Fowey Food Week, 4th - 11th March

Eat your way around the world without leaving Fowey - from China to Vietnam, Mexico and more! Different foodie locations in this gorgeous seaside town will have special dishes from their chosen country at just £12 for a main and £7 for a starter or dessert. 

Falmouth Spring Flower Show, 25th & 26th March

For over 100 years this flower show has signalled spring in Cornwall. Full of daffodils, spring blooms, foliage, cacti and stunning flower arrangements. A beautiful display of colours and spring aromas.

Boscastle Walking Week, 16th - 21st April

Explore the countryside and coastline around Boscastle with knowledgeable local guides. There are also a series of meals at local restaurants in the evenings at great prices so walkers can get together.

Porthleven Food Festival, 21st - 23rd April

The highlight of any Cornish foodie! This award winning 3 days festival is jam packed with celebrity chefs, live music, feast nights and of course more delicious local food and drink than you can imagine!

Helston Flora Day, 5th May

Enjoy one of the oldest customs of welcoming in spring at Flora Day. The day is filled with dances through the streets, the most famous of which is the midday dance where the men of the town don top hats and the women wear their finest frocks. Enjoy live music, food and craft stalls, a fairground and plenty of fun late into the night.

Looe Luggar Regatta, 18th - 22nd May

Luggars are the beautiful traditional sailing boats that were once a common sight along the coast of Cornwall and Brittany. For a few days in May these boats, most of which are over 100 years old, gather in Looe and compete in races - a beautiful sight to see. Stick around for the shoreside entertainment in the evening.
