St Ives Kite Fest, 23rd & 30th March
Get ready to blow away the winter cobwebs and embrace the elements! The spectacle of hundreds of colourful kites flying above The Island on 30th March is amazing - and even better if you join in! Bring a kite and join in for free, or take part in a kite making workshop on 23rd March (£2) and build and decorate your own kite ready for flight.
Free Easter Crafts at Kresen Kernow, 2nd & 9th April
Make a beautiful Easter egg basket, then paint or draw any pattern you like onto wooden eggs! Fill your Easter basket with rainbow tissue paper and hide your eggs in the middle, ready to take home. This activity is free and for all ages. No need to book – just drop in!
Easter Egg Hunt at Cotehele, 29th March - 14th April
Follow the trail through the beautiful garden at Cotehele and discover nature themed activities for the whole family. Prices are normal admission plus £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears, and dairy or vegan and Free From chocolate egg.
Carrie's War at The Minack Theatre, 29th March - 12th April
Bundle up, pack a flask of hot chocolate and get ready for an adventurous tale of the events that unfold when Carrie and her younger brother are evacuated to rural Wales from wartime London. An adaptation of Nina Bawden’s award-winning children’s novel which was inspired by her own wartime experience of evacuation.
Stargazing at Botallack, 2nd April
Celebrate International Dark Skies Week by joining in this free event. There will be a short introduction to dark skies and stargazing before heading outside to view the stars, planets and constellations through telescopes.
Young Writers Self Publishing Workshop, 30th March
